Phobias (such as fear of heights, flying, or elevators) are rapid threat responses executed by the amygdala. The moment a trigger is detected, the nervous system bypasses logical analysis, flooding the body with adrenaline and causing panic.
Using cognitive reframing and subconscious desensitization, we decouple the trigger from the panic response. We guide the mind to view the trigger from a state of safety. This re-patterning updates the amygdala's threat script, allowing clients to experience heights, flights, or elevators with composed neutrality.
